Tibetan pupils salute to Beijing friends for saying goodbye.

Embrace each other and wait for next meet.

Tenzin Begyi from Lhasa Haicheng Primary School is in tears as she is going to say goodby  with her Beijing friends.

On June 2, Flight CA 4112 took off as usual at 8:10 am. But for 13 Tibetan pupils attending the the "Beijing-Tibet Students Hand-in-Hand" Progarmme, the moment is unusual, as they have to say goodbye to their friends newly known during the one-week stay in the nation's capital.

Launched by Beijing Haidian District Working Committee of China Young Pioneers, Tibet Working Committee of China Young Pioneers and China Tibet Information Center, the programme was part of the celebrations of 40th anniversary of China's Tibet Autonomous Region.

The pupils were hosted by 13 Beijing families, and they have become good friends with a number of Beijing peers.

The programme organizers will form a delegation of Beijing pupils to visit Tibet in Sempeter, said Gao Xuedong, an official from Beijing Haidian District Working Committee of China Young Pioneers.
